I think for the days when there aren't many games, I'll give a more in-depth analysis, but on days like today when there's a whole bunch of games, it'll be quick summaries. Lets go!
Washington Wizards 132 (2-5) @ Charlotte Hornets 116 (2-5)
Tough game to watch, it became a blowout quickly and the Hornets couldn't catch up. They also had 20 turnovers which led to 35 points for the Wizards.
Player of the game: Kyle Kuzma - 33 pts, 9 reb, 4 ast
Utah Jazz 118 (2-7) @ Indiana Pacers 134 (5-3)
Pacersare starting to look like a TEAM, with everyone contributing. The Jazz are in trouble, they can't seem to find a groove.
Player of the game: Benedict Mathurin - 22 pts, 9 reb, 4 ast
Boston Celtics 103 (5-2) @ Philadelphia 76ers 106 (6-1)
6 wins in a row for the Sixers and 2 losses in a row for the Celtics. Embiid and Maxey are looking like a top 5 duo in the league right now.
Player of the game: Joel Embiid - 27 pts, 10 reb, 4 ast
Los Angeles Clippers 93 (3-4) @ Brooklyn Nets 100 (4-4)
Uh-oh two losses in a row with Harden on the Clippers now. They'll need some time to get it together as a new team, but until then these losses can be expected. Pretty low scoring game after it looked like no one wanted to score at the beginning of the game.
Player of the game: Lonnie Walker IV - 21 pts
San Antonio Spurs 105 (3-5) @ New York Knicks 126 (4-4)
The Spurs never led this game. Julius Randle finally had his best game of the season so far. Brunson, Barrett, and Quickley all contributed as well.
Player of the game: Julius Randle - 23 pts, 16 reb, 5 ast
Phoenix Suns 116 (4-4) @ Chicago Bulls 115 (3-6)
This was a close one in the return of Bradley Beal. I can't wait to see Beal, Booker, and KD finally share the court soon. The Bulls defense, specifically from Alex Caruso, helped keep them in the game.
Player of the game: Kevin Durant - 25 pts, 6 reb, 9 ast
Los Angeles Lakers 94 (3-5) @ Houston Rockets 128 (4-3)
Lakers suck. We have all been bamboozled, hoodwinked, tricked, led astray. The Rockets are also finding some momentum, led by their defense.
Player of the game: Jalen Green - 28 pts, 7 reb, 3 ast
Miami Heat 108 (4-4) @ Memphis Grizzlies 102 (1-7)
I just wanted this game to end. Two of my bottom 10 teams to watch. Grizzlies ALMOST got their second win, but a late Jaime Jaquez three ended their dreams.
Player of the game: Kyle Lowry - 17 pts, 11 reb, 9 ast
Detroit Pistons 118 (2-7) @ Milwaukee Bucks 120 (5-2)
Giannis got done dirty and got ejected from the game when he shouldn't have. So their newly arrived superstar Damian Lillard took over and led the team to the deserved win.
Player of the game: Damian Lillard - 34 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast
New Orleans Pelicans 101 (4-4) @ Minnesota Timberwolves 122 (5-2)
Yeah the Wolves are looking serious. No CJ and Zion for the Pelicans tonight either.
Player of the game: Anthony Edwards - 26 pts, 3 reb, 8 ast
Cleveland Cavaliers 120 (3-5) @ Oklahoma City Thunder 128 (5-3)
A pretty back and forth game but the Thunder led for most of the game and had an answer for every punch the Cavs threw.
Player of the game: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - 43 pts, 7 reb, 6 ast
Toronto Raptors 127 (4-4) @ Dallas Mavericks 116 (6-2)
The Raptors played good defense with alot of effort which helped mitigate the damage done from the three point line of the Mavs.
Player of the game: Pascal Siakam - 31 pts, 12 reb, 5 ast
Golden State Warriors 105 (6-3) @ Denver Nuggets 108 (8-1)
The Nuggets continue their dominance even with Jamal Murray expected to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. Their bench is their only weak spot, but that's compensated by how good their starting players are, especially Jokic. The Warriors continue to show they're serious contenders this year.
Player of the game: Nikola Jokic - 35 pts, 13 reb, 5 ast
Portland Trail Blazers 118 (3-5) @ Sacramento Kings 121 (3-4)
Wooo this was an exciting overtime game! Wasn't really sure which Kings team would show up tonight, the one tht actually wanted to win or the one that looked like a high school team without Fox. We got the former. Man they're such a fun team to watch when they actually play well. This was a sloppy game though, it felt very free flowing with ups and downs and lots of turnovers.
Player of the game: Malik Monk - 23 pts, 6 reb, 10 ast
